When people ask where my corset studio is, I love telling them it's right here in Portland. Honestly, I can't imagine being anywhere else.
Portland has always been a city that celebrates creativity, individuality, and handcrafted work. It's full of artists, makers, musicians, vintage lovers, and people who aren't afraid to express themselves. Instead of asking, "Can I wear that?" people here are more likely to ask, "How can I make this even more me?"
No two people who walk into my studio are looking for the same thing, and that's my favorite part.
One day I'm designing a corset for someone to wear on their wedding day. The next, I'm creating a one-of-a-kind cosplay piece, a dramatic gothic corset, or helping someone find clothing that finally fits their body the way they've always wished it would.
Either way, the process is collaborative, and every corset ends up telling its own story. Whether we're creating something completely custom or finding the perfect fit from one of my one-of-a-kind standard fit corsets, the goal is always the same: to offer something that feels uniquely yours.
There's something special about watching someone look in the mirror and say, "This is exactly what I imagined." That's why I do what I do.
Portland Has Always Embraced Alternative Fashion
One of the reasons I love having a corset studio in Portland is that people here aren't afraid to be themselves.
Gothic fashion, dark romantic style, vintage clothing, historical dress, burlesque, steampunk, cottagecore, fantasy, Renaissance Faire, cosplay—Portland has a place for all of it. I love working with clients who have a clear vision, as well as those who simply know they want something beautiful that's unlike anything they can find in a store.
Whether your style is romantic, dramatic, whimsical, or completely your own, a corset should become a favorite piece in your wardrobe—not something that's worn once and forgotten.
Custom or Standard Fit—There's a Corset for Everyone
One of the biggest misconceptions about corsetry is that every corset has to be completely custom.
Custom corsets are wonderful because they're drafted specifically for your body, your posture, your proportions, and your goals. Every pattern is made from scratch, creating a truly personalized fit.
But custom isn't the only option.
I also offer one-of-a-kind standard fit corsets. These are standard sizing, making them significantly more affordable than a fully custom commission while maintaining the same level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. They're perfect for someone who wants an artisan-made corset without the time or investment of a bespoke piece.
Bridal Corsets That Feel Like You
Bridal corsets are some of my favorite projects because they're part of such a meaningful day.
Some brides choose a traditional ivory corset hidden beneath their gown for support and structure. Others are planning black weddings, fantasy weddings, Renaissance-inspired celebrations, or alternative ceremonies and want the corset to be the centerpiece of the entire look.
There isn't one way to be a bride anymore, and I love that!
Whether you're dreaming of timeless elegance or something beautifully unconventional, your corset should feel just as personal as the rest of your wedding day.
More Than a Corset Studio
My Portland studio isn't just where I design and do fittings—it's a creative space built to bring people together.
Throughout the year, I host pop-up shops featuring local artists, makers, and small businesses because I love supporting Portland's creative community. The studio is also available to book for photoshoots, styled sessions, private events, and other creative projects.
Whether you're looking for a unique backdrop for your next shoot, planning an intimate gathering, or hoping to collaborate on something special, I'd love to hear your ideas.
